We are from Chicago and moved to Playa Del Carmen, MX from December, 2017 for my work project. My husband and I are separated but he will still visit some times in the year. We live in Bali, near a Waldorf school and close to playa del Carmen downtown area by car. We rent a house with 3 bedrooms so we can host one au pair to live with us, while helping on babysitting, grocery shopping and maybe some food preparation. of course we share house chores, and we also value and try to have meals together as much as we can. But it is not required. We minimize our media to our kids so the person will need to watch TV when we are not home.
pick up the kids, which is walking distance at 1:40pm then supervise them from 1:40-5:40pm normally. if there are some evening babysitting needs, we will discuss up front. House chores sharing, food preparation and grocery shopping if the Au Pair can drive legally in Mexico.
