We are looking for a new au pair who can become part of our family. We are a welcoming and friendly family who like to meet new people. We have had several previous au pairs. wife and I are 48 years old and we are both dentists. We have 11 year old twins, Rosie and Ben and a 9 year old son James. We live in a village, in a large house. You would have a big bedroom and your own television and DVD player. Our village is 5km for a large town, Taunton. Taunton has a number of aupairs and all our previous aupairs have had no problems making friends. We are active people who enjoy outdoor life, cycling, swimming, horse riding and skiing. The children have many interests and are always busy. We hope that if you join us you will take part in our family life and a lots of fun with us.
We are looking for someone who is fun loving, outgoing and sporty. We have a dog, cats and a bunny rabbit, so you have to like animals. You will have a car to get around in and to take the children to their activities. We are looking for someone who can look after the children before and after school until we get home from work. You will have to take the children to their after school clubs. The children have homework which we would like you to help them with. Ideally we would like an au pair who can play the piano to help with the children music practice, but this is not essential. You would be responsible for the childrens rooms, washing and ironing and cooking their evening meal. We share the cooking for the adults between us and try to eat together a couple of times a week, so we can catch up on whats been going on. We need someone who is prepared to be flexible with us, to look after the children when we are at work and to occasionally help out at the weekend.
