Hello We are looking for an Au Pair to join our family and be a "big sister" to our daughters Francesca and Abigail. Francesca is 9 years old and Abigail is 5 years old. You need to like being active and have a sense of fun and adventure. Francesca loves all sport - especially football and hockey and is very inquisitive and clever and also love Pokemon!! Abigail is a more girly, who enjoys playing with dolls, pretending to cook and being a little monkey! My husband and I work in London everyday so our au pair is an essential part of our family. We are looking for someone caring who wants to spend time playing with our girls and helping us support them whilst we are at work. Our start date would be March or April 2018. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience looking after children. We have a beautiful house in a village, minutes from the city of Chelmsford and only 30 mins from London and 20 mins from Stansted Airport. You will have the privacy of your own room and a lounge at the top of the house, use of a car and a mobile phone. You will have your own room, with a lounge, sofa, TV, wifi. We will also provide you with a car to use to take the children to after school activities but will also be available for your own private use. There are many other au pairs in our area area so plenty of opportunities to socialse. Our previous Au Pairs are also willing to talk to you about their experience. Our children need driving to school, so you must be experienced driver. We will supply you with a car and a mobile phone, which you can use at the weekend for personal use too. You will need to do some very light house work to keep the house tidy, (we also have a cleaner who comes every week). You will have at least 2/3 day (s) off per week, usually the weekend. Key activities to support us are - 1. Getting the girls ready for school in the morning & bringing them home 2. Preparing the dinner 3. Playing with the girls or helping them with their homework 4. getting them ready for bed. Most important - having fun with them!!! We would need you to work Monday – Friday and you would get weekends completely off, and there is occasional evening babysitting. During the day the children will be at school, so you will have time to attend college if you wish to study English (there is one 10 mins away). Your weekends and evenings are your own. There are many au pairs in the surrounding area, who often meet up in town or travel at the weekend. We understand how difficult it can be leaving home to come to a different country. We have had au pairs for 6 years now and will support you settling in, getting to college and meeting people whilst you are here.
