Hello, and welcome (hopefully) to our family, we have a handsome little boy named Eric. He's a very happy and curious child, and we are excited at this opportunity to invite another person to share their culture and language with him. We hope to learn about our au pair's culture as we share ours with her or him. We are looking for an au pair to care for Eric while I am at work during the day and if I get called in at night (very very rare, maybe one weeknight every 3 or 4 months). I usually work Monday through Friday, and every 8th weekend. The weekend hours are on an as-needed basis, and we would like our au pair to help us with this on an as-needed basis as well. Other weekends would be free time for her or him. We would like our au pair to share her or his language and culture with our child. Duties would be helping feed Eric with his laundry and keep his toys and room cleaned, and teaching him about your native language and culture. It's would be great if you can also teach about your native food. If our au pair is willing to do housework unrelated to Eric (vacuum, dust, etc.) salary could be more. We have a large house with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, a den, a dining room, kitchen, and sunroom as well as laundry room. Our au pair can have her choice of the open bedrooms (3 choices), she may also have a bathroom to herself. The main living areas (living room, kitchen, sunroom, dining room) would be shared with the family. We have a large yard (garden) and a back deck.
