Hello, we are looking for an au-pair to come and live with us from mid-July to early September (around 6 weeks). Open to a longer or shorter stay for the right person. We have 2 boys (age 5 and 2). We live in Ightham village which is a typically English village near a larger town called Sevenoaks. We are only 45minutes on the train from London Victoria. The au-pair will have their own room with en-suite bathroom. I want someone who is happy to teach the boys Spanish and only speak to them in Spanish. I speak Spanish but my husband does not. I am happy to speak in English once the kids are in bed and my husband obviously will only speak English. I will help you make local friends, meet other au-pairs, find language classes and things to do... anything you need to help you settle and get the most out of your stay. I don't work so won't neccessarily ever ask you to be in sole charge of the kids. Please ask if you have any questions. We are looking for someone who is happy and easy going , with lots of energy. Someone who enjoys playing with children inside or outside! We have two pet rabbits and will probably have a couple of chickens by the time you arrive!
The au-pair needs to be happy to talk to the boys (5 and 2years old) in Spanish. The kids will be on their summer holidays so must be happy to join us for days out to farms, the beach, countryside, national trust properties, museums etc.. Some light house work required and one night babysitting per week.
