We are a family of 4 with 2 little kids: Aiky 4,5 years old and Ky 3 years old. We are raising the kids bilingual (Italian and English) and we also lived in Spain last year so they are accustomed to that language as well. We have just said goodbye to our first au pair and are looking for someone new to join our family as our experience was extremely positive. My husband and I met in Erasmus when we were 20 years old and since then we both lived abroad in many different places until coming back to Italy 5 years ago. We can totally relate to what this experience can mean to you and we would do whatever we can to make it special for you! We live in Milan in the very centre of the city. The house is big, spread on 4 floor so you will have ample space for yourself, and be very well connected to the most important places in the city.
Kids go to school all day so we need help to prepare them for school and taking them back and forth, it is a 5 minute walk from the house. We ask for a light help taking care of the house and some cooking (we have a robot that does most of it, the au pair just needs to put the ingredient inside and activate it). Kids get back from school at 6pm, the au pair can take care of giving them a bath and play a little bit until we are back home for dinner time. She will take them to sleep at 9pm. For us the most important thing is to find someone right for our kids. We hope to find a caring and attentive person who can truly enjoy playing with them. We can be very flexible about duties in the house and adjust it to the person we think has a better fit with our kids.
