Dear Au Pair We are looking forward to welcoming to you our beautiful home in Surrey, just outside Central London. We are looking for a fun, kind and responsible adult to look after our two daughters whilst we are at work. Both girls speak French and Spanish at school and we would like the Au Pair to encourage them and speak to them in one of these languages when possible, but also would provide plenty of opportunity for you to improve your English if needed. We are a very kind family and you would be very well looked after yourself. Both parents are professionals and work during the week. We spend our weekends together as a family and have lots of fun and activities. The girls are 12 and 13 and are full of life, fun and very intelligent. They have lots of friends who like to come to our home, and they play many sports in and after school. There is often tennis, jockey or netball after school and at weekends. Our eldest daughter also loves to play guitar, read and play computer games. Our youngest daughter loves to read, write and act. They enjoy riding their bikes in outr private estate or playing in the garden - often with their friends. They both love food and enjoy food from all over the world. The mother works in the financial city in London, and the father is a hospital doctor, also working in London.
We are looking for an AuPair that will collect the girls from school - by car - and take them to their various sporting activities after school. These are very short journeys. After getting home, we would need the AuPair to prepare their dinner. This would usually be warming food prepared already or making simple but healthy meals - such as steaming fish with vegetables. But it would be nice if the AuPair was quite good at cooking. Sometimes, we have very easy recipes to follow - which make delicious food. We may require the AuPair to take the girls to school in the morning also. During the day, they would need to tidy the girls' bedrooms (make their beds, simple laundry) and then in the evening after dinner, you would need to tidy the kitchen and dining room and make sure the girls had their shower, do their homework (they don't need any help with this) and get ready for bed. Occasionally, we may require the AuPair to collect the mother from the train station in the evening. We would therefore ideally the AuPair to be a good safe driver. It would be ideal if the Au Pair was fluent in either Spanish or French as the girls love these languages at school. We want the AuPair to be fun, kind and responsible to take care of our girls.
