Hey! I'm a teacher in High School in Italy and I live in a lovely town in the south of Piedmont, which is a region in Northern Italy. My town is in a very good position because you can easily reach the beautiful mountains, as well as the seaside, in less than an hour. I live in a quiet house with an amazing view of the sourrounding landscape with my husband, who is an employee, and my son Leo. We have two cute dogs, whose names are Weiß and Lucky. I love reading, walking in the countryside and...I do love foreign languages and cultures! I look forward to welcoming you at my place :)
As my daughter mainly lives outside of the town (she studies foreign languages and translation...I successfully passed down my love for languages ;) ) and my son is a teenager, I would simply ask the au pair to help my son with his homework and chat with him in English as much as possible so that he can improve and feel more confident. Just as simple as that :) We think indeed that a young person could really have a good impact on his learning motivation and, especially, from a different cultural background.
