Dear au pair, We are an open minded family, with 3 sweet and bubbly kids : Alix (14), Eliot (11) and Lola (8). Having been living in an international environment, both Alix and Eliot are in the Sevres international school (SIS bilangual), when Lola attends normal french program. We have had support from aupairs for two years now, and would love to continue the experience for the next year! (PS : our current aupair is still at home, so please let us know if you would like to contact her to have some information and feed-back about us/kids/the environment) À notre sujet We are living in Sevres, a nice suburb, South-west of Paris, in a spacious house with three floors. We all enjoy practicing outdoor activities & sports in the area. Alix practices climbing, and gym at home (we're equipped!), Eliot plays Football and the drums, and Lola is fan of arts and gymnastics! Kids enjoy handcrafting, jumping on the trampoline, reading books and watching movies together... On top of that, we all love socializing, and do spend a lot of time with family and friends.
Having spent three years in London, the two eldest have a very good level in English. Lola, the little one is still learning, and needs to improve by regularly practicing. Our aim is for her to be able to follow her brother and sister by integrating the international school by the end of next year. We mainly speak french at home but we ask you to engage with the children mostly in English so that they can advance quickly. We would like you to help with the kids' english homework after school and to design vocabulary/writing/grammar exercises to do with them additionally (mainly with Lola and a little with Eliot). Your other duties would include helping Lola get ready each weekday morning (clothes, breakfast, brushing teeth, etc.) and taking her to school. The other two can do this on their own, they are very autonomous :-) Also picking up Lola from school is required and taking care of the kids after school, playing with them, interacting and assisting with homework of course. You will also take Lola to her arts class each Wednesday afternoon and to her gymnastics lesson each Friday early evening. We'll also need babysitting from time to time, and of course will ask you to participate (in a reasonable portion of course!) in housekeeping and/or cooking. You are responsible for the upkeep of the top floor of the house (shared with Alix and Lola). Your own bedroom is provided, as well as financial allowance Looking forward to welcoming you at home
