Myself Rachel and my husband Matthew live with our 2 lovely little boys, George who is 2 and Thomas who is 5 months. We also have a lovely black Labrador called Toby who we have owned since he was 8 weeks old. I also horse ride, we are currently in the process of getting set up to have horses at home.
Firstly for us it is very important that we have an au pair who wants to become part of the family. We would like someone who will build a bond the our two little boys. Both children love to play, be cuddled and have lots of interaction. George our 2 year old loves to play outside, he is very interested in learning so we would really like someone who will have fun with him. Your main tasks will be: 1) help in the mornings getting the children dressed and taking george to nursery a few times a week. 2) collecting George from nursery 3) helping with cooking 4) bed and bath time 5) some cleaning / tidying of the house and children's rooms 6) ocassionally have the children over night As we are farmers, certain times of the year are very busy and we will need more help from you at these time. It is really important to us that during the busy periods we have an au pair who is happy to get involved with the family and really help out as needed. However when the farm is quiet you will have lots more free time to travel / sightsee etc. You will have access to the family car, insurance and petrol will be paid for by us. You will have your own large bedroom and your own bathroom. (The bathroom is not en suite but opposite your bedroom door) We have 2 sitting rooms, a large kitchen and dinning room area. Our garden is a nice size and lovely in the summer. The village where we live as lots of beautiful walks which the children and dog love.
