Hello! We are a very active, Italian, professional couple looking for a positive, caring, responsible and experienced nanny to care for our two children, aged almost 8 and almost 10 now. Time flies by! Our kids love drawing, playing cards and board games. They play, trumpet, do quite a few sports and are very active, but still polite and respectful. We - the parents - are quite sociable and love spending time with our kids and our friends, always finding something to do together during the weekend. In the last 4 years we have had 6 aupair girls. Some of them stayed with us the whole year, others unfortunately could stay for shorter times due to some family late-notice issues. We, the parents, are separated, but get on well and live in the same street, so for the kids - and you - the logistics are easier. Even though the kids stay 50% of them time with either their dad or mum, you would be stable in one of the two flats, to give you the maximum of comfort and avoid as much as possible moving back and forth. We have references from previous aupairs and they will be available to have chat with you if you wish. We just received a lovely postcard from our last aupair, which you can see saved in this profile, as one of the pictures.
Experience with kids is preferable, but not compulsory. However you must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy and punctual. Moreover, your English much be at a very good level, as your main duty will be to support kids while doing homework. You will be required to work weekdays, Monday to Friday, for around 5.5 hours a day (1.5 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoons from 3.20pm). We are a non-smoking household, but we had aupairs who smoked and that was never an issue for us.
