We are a Danish-English family living in a lovely area in North London close to shops, restaurants, parks and transport. Mum is Danish, Dad is english and we have two bubbly and happy children aged 5 and 8 (boy and girl) who are bilingual.
We are looking for a boy or a girl to join our family from September as a live-in au pair. This is the first time we employ an au pair so we'll work out a routine together but expect your duties to include helping out with the morning routine, the school run in the morning and afternoon, caring and supervising for the children after-school, prepare light meals, light housework and grocery shopping. Mon-Fri and evening babysitting 1-2 evenings per month. No weekends unless specifically agreed. In addition you will also have the opportunity to work a 5-10 hours a week on the online retail business owned by mum, helping with marketing and social media campaigns, website content, customer emails, supplier contact etc. No previous experience required as all training will be provided. This will provide excellent professional working experience but is completely optional and flexible. You will get your own large bedroom which is light and airy and share a bathroom with the children. We are easy-going but busy but look ofrward to welcoming you into our family and will do our very best to help you settle in to a new city and new country.
