Dear au-pair, We are a family of 5 living in a nice house in Dijon (Capital of Burgundy with 300'000 people, 90 minutes by train to Paris). Dijon has a large university with more than 30’000 students and a large international activity due to its leadership in wine and food. Our kids are 17 (boy named Lucas), 12 (girl named Joah) and 4 (girl named Marlow) and 2 nice dogs. We are 39 and 42 years old and have been married for 15 years. We have a large house (600 square meter with 6 bedrooms and an independent quarter for the au-pair). We also have a large swimming pool and large garden (5000 square meter). We do a lots of sports (tennis, running, swimming, etc). We travel quite a lot (Paris, London, NYC, Asia, Italy, etc) and also spend our winter holidays in the French Alps (Megève) and summer holidays in the South of France. We are looking for a girl (ideally English speaking between 20 and 24 years old) looking to improve her french, learn more about the french culture but also discover Europe and other regions. We will actually be traveling to Bali in a few months (and the Au Pair will come along with the family), the mountains in the winter and probably Italy, Morocco and NYC next year. We are looking to start with the new au-pair as soon as possible and for at least 9 months.
The main duty of the au-pair will be to help us in running the house, take care of our youngest child (4y old), cook, grocery shopping as well as speak English with the older ones (12 and 17). There is a full-time housekeeper who you will be in the house throughout the week and you will be working alongside to corrdinate housework duties (she does all the cleaning, you will do grocery shopping, preparing meals, ect.)
