We are an active family living in rural Aberdeenshire with close transport links to Aberdeen itself. We have two boys aged 3 and 5, and a baby girl of 9 months. We enjoy walking in the countryside with our mischievous small dog and the children.
We're looking for an au pair who is great with small children, enjoys board games, taking the children to the park, is very active with excellent common sense and initiative. The job involves helping getting the older children ready for school/nursery in the mornings (1hour), playing with the younger boy and baby for a couple of hours in the afternoons. Help with bed time routine (1 hour). A few household chores would be expected - loading and unloading dishwasher, light cleaning of communal areas (vacuuming, light dusting), changing of children's bed linen weekly, etc. We do have a weekly cleaner so no heavy cleaning is needed. One night a week babysitting on an ad-hoc basis, but never more than once a week. Weekends are your own to enjoy a rest, explore Scotland or further afield.
