We are a family of 3 people: Chiara, Michele, and our daughter Sveva, 7 years old. We are Italian, but been living in Hong Kong for almost 1 year. We live in the Mid-levels area of Hong Kong. The au-pair will have her own bedroom with a desk, wardrobe and a private bathroom. Sveva will go and come back from school by bus. She will be at school from 8.00 to 4. In the afternoon Sveva will make her homeworks and practice some sports. Since 2014, we have had an au-pair lving with us. We are really appreciating this experience and would like to go on with it also in Hong Kong. Our former au-pair would be available to share her experience with a potential au-pair interested.
- Generally no duties are requested during morning time up to 4pm as far as the school is open, as well as during week-ends (of course it will be a pleasure for us to have you with us during the week ends, anyway if you like) - # 3 evening babysitting per week is required - We expect the au-pair speaks in German with our daughter - Au-pair duty (typical weekly plan): * At 4pm, pick up Sveva at the school bus stop station (in front of our place) * Some examples for after-school time: - checking her homeworks - going to the park with friends / school-mates - going to dancing lessons, etc - playing with her - teaching her tidying her room after playing * At 6.30pm: Sveva's dinner * When baby-sitting: reading / telling stories before going to bed; At 8.00/8.30pm going to bed - We kindly ask you flexibility in relation to your working hours. The same we will do with you, if needed / requested. In particular, if needed (ex. school closed, Sveva with sick leave, other) we may ask you to take care of Sveva for all day long. - Among your duties, there is also take care of your room (tiding, cleaning it up) and washing / ironing your own clothes.
