Hello! We are a friendly and happy family of 5, my husband Jon, myself, Henry (6), Nell (5), Gwen (3), (plus Carter our cat) looking for a friendly and outgoing au pair to help us with childcare and become part of the family. We live in the beautiful Spa town of Leamington Spa, our house is in a great location, a short walk (5 mins) from the town centre with great shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants. Our children all attend the same school which is walking distance. The school day is 9am-3pm. On weekends we enjoy relaxing at home or being outdoors playing ball games, visiting children's parks or playing on scooters and bikes. I enjoy running and playing netball, my husband plays hockey on Saturdays but Sunday's we try and spend the day as a family relaxing. We have a large house which has plenty of space for the whole family, giving you room for peace and quiet when you want it. You will have a tv in your room and WiFi plus a bike if you want to cycle. A little about our kids.... The children love going to the park on their bikes or scooters and swimming at our local pool which is at the end of our road. Henry is a typical boy loving lego, building things, collecting sticks and insects ! Nell and Gwen love playing with dolls and dressing up, all the children love drawing, colouring and anything arty.
We are looking for an au pair who enjoys being around and caring for children, and wants to join our family and have new experiences in England. A typical week involves up to 25 hours a week (including 1-2 evenings of babysitting, one a weekend). You'll be paid a weekly allowance. During the week you would look after the kids before and after school, leaving you plenty of time during the day to learn English at our local college or explore the area, exercise or enjoy your hobbies. In the evenings we would encourage you to socialise, make friends or learn new hobbies to make your stay with us more enjoyable and memorable. We are a fun, friendly and relaxed family and will try to ensure you feel like one of the family and enjoy your time here. Our location in the centre of England is ideal for exploring more of the country, we have many tourist destinations close by including Warwick and Stratford Upon Avon a bus ride away, Birmingham 30mins by train and London 1hr 15mins by Train. We only live a 15 min walk from the train station. We will ensure you have free weekends to travel and explore and invite you to join us on our family trips.
