We are a Swiss family, located in Malahide Co. Dublin, in Ireland, with two boys, 6 and 8, and one old cat. We live in a big detached house with a garden and a beautiful view. We are near the estuary and not far from the sea. The place is really lovely ! Our spoken language is French, but both children are in the local school here and we also speak English. We are friends with Irish families, too. All of us are vegeterians/vegan (our children are free to choose their diet, they have decided not to eat meat… for the moment !). But you don't need to be. The older child plays the guitar, basketball and chess, the younger one plays violin and recorder, Mum plays basketball, gives some French classes and is volunteering for the local Babywearing Association, and dad is self-employed and works from home, regularly travelling to Switzerland.
We are looking for a native English speaking or a good English speaker au pair. She or he will help with the daily routine : primarily, taking them to school and to their after school activities. She or he will also sometimes have to look after them some evenings. This is our main expectation. She or he will also help with some light housework. In our city, there are lots of activities like sports (GAA, basketball, sealing, soccer, golf, yoga, dance, ...) or arts. We are also really close to Dublin City which offers all activities that such a big city can offer ! Our two boys are both charming as well as smart: They love reading, playing, doing jokes, music (listening and playing). Our cat is also really cute :-) Oh, by the way : you can also learn French with us if you wish, I'm a French teacher !
