We are a young hungarian family planning to relocate to Aarhus from Budapest, because of a job offer. I work as a biostatistic researcher at the University of Aarhus and my husband has been working as an IT manager for years. We both speak english fluently (but no danish), but our kids only speak hungarian. As it is going to be our first year in a different country, we expect to face new challenges. Especially the kids, because they won't understand anything for a long time. That is why, I would really love to have a hungarian speaking nanny, so at least that would make them feel like home. They are pretty sensitive, but good at playing together and alone, so totally objective speaking they are the best kids in the world and fun to be with:) They both speak fluently their mother language, like to sing and listening to stories. And they are both boys, I may have forgot to mention that.
The Au pair's job would be mostly babysitting. Playing with them, taking care of them, and put them to sleep, when the parents go out. As for the housework, that would be nice to have some help in that too, but only sometimes, when it seems impossible without help, and that won't be the main profile of this job. So mostly we are looking for a nice hungarian girl, into who the kids can "fall in love", and have fun time together, when me and my husband have work to do, or need some rest. In exchange for that, the Au pair would get a lots of free time to explore Denmark, and go to social events, and of course some pocket money to do all of that.
