We are a family of 4. We now live in Copenhagen in Denmark having moved here last summer from southern Spain. We would be happy to have an English speaker or Spanish speaker so our children can continue to learn and speak Spanish. Myself and my husband Phillip lived in Spain on and off or over 10 years, before moving to Copenhagen, Denmark. Tabitha, our eldest, will be 8 years old in May. Funny, loving, and a bit of a drama queen. Matilda is our youngest, 6 in May, and although slightly quieter than Tabitha has a lot of personality and is so incredibly loving. We live in a beach side house with a separate annex for our au pair that has a separate kitchen and bathroom and own private access. We are a five min walk to the train station which gives easy access to the city. We also have a small family dog - so those with dog allergies probably should not apply. Ideally, having a driving licence is a plus as the school run would be much easier if you can drive.
As I work from home, the responsibilities will be less structured, but mostly we need a set of eyes on the children after school and help with the school runs. Light housework will be required to help keep up with the chores during the week. This would be the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for work experience with children. Flexibility is a must. With jobs that can change our weekly schedules at short notice, we would be looking for someone who would be able to work with our sometimes spontaneous lifestyle. There may also be occasional weekend work, but this would be the exception and certainly not every weekend. General knowledge of Spanish would be amazing, but not 100% necessary as we would love our kids to continue speaking Spanish but it is not a deal breaker. Time off is flexible as my working hours are too flexible. We have a family car which you will be welcome to use for school runs and occasional personal use. We will also supply a bike - which is the standard mode of transport here in Denmark. If you are fun, lighthearted and responsible this could be a great fit.
