Personal introduction
Hello future host family,
My name is Sofia, I'm a Portuguese girl born in 2004.
I'm a law student getting my Bachelors degree in Law, in Nova School of Law, in Lisbon, Portugal.
I don't have previous experience as an Au Pair but I would really love to try it since I love kids and I also love experiencing new cultures and meeting new people.
I have no problem dealing with house chores such as cleaning, cooking, doing the dishes, etc...
I will do everything in my power to connect with your family and especially the children. The most important thing for me as an Au Pair is trust and respect from both parties.
I have a very strong personality, I'm a girl who sticks to her own beliefs but who is also capable of listening and understanding others. I fight for what I believe in and I like to share my opinions and knowledge with people.
I'm very easy to get along with, wouldn't consider myself a shy person and I adapt very well to different scenarios. I am very responsible, helpful, authentical and joyful.
I am starting my Bachelors degree in Law.
I am looking to become an Au Pair during summer holidays or even after I finish my degree, I'm planning to take a gap year and dedicate a full year to being an Au Pair.
I love spending time outdoors, being active and playing with children and animals. I enjoy reading and working out, traveling, taking pictures, going on adventures, trying new foods, watching movies and shows and spending time with my beloved ones.
I have visited Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden and I'm looking forward to experience more countries and cultures.
Portuguese is my native language, therefore, my strongest one.
I speak fluent English as I'v been learning it from a very young age and many of my subjects in university are taught in English, I also take many of my exams in English.
I have basic knowledge of Norwegian since I've spent some time in a Norwegian household when I was dating a Norwegian boy.
I look forward to hearing from you.
