Dear Au pair, right now we are looking for a starting from Jan 2017 on We are looking for a friendly and caring girl who is trustworthy and who has fun being together with children. We have three girls who are in school all day. Mostly work will be early in the morning , help to get the girls ready for school and then after three pm, when they come home. Your jobs would as well be the walking of our dog in the morning and during the day while both parents are at work. So the love for a nice brown labrador would be important. We are a family with three girls, both parents work. My husband has his job in Berlin and is home in the evenings. I am working for Lufthansa and will be away from home about 10 days a month. My husband is German, I am from Finland. We have lived in Poland, Spain, Singapore and England before we moved to Berlin/Germany four years ago. The girls are in full time schooling at an International School and speak mainly English, but speak Finnish and German as well at home. Our languages spoken at home are German, Finnish and English . I still speak a little Polish and Spanish and my husband is fluent in Spanish. The ages of the girls are 9,10,14 years old. We have a brown Labrador , whose name is Chelsea, he is a male dog and yes he is named after a football club. We live in a house, next to a forrest and other outdoor possibilities, in a town called Kleinmachnow, right on the border to Berlin. We are looking for someone who is self sufficient and can cope with being alone during the day when the kids are in school. We are looking for someone who likes children and likes being around children. Your job would also be tidying the kids rooms and put their clean laundry away. A drivers licens is a must as you will need to do the school runs when I am not at home and doing this by car is so much easier than by foot. Usually it is an early wake up to get the girls ready in the morning and in the evenings to help to get them bed ready. As both parents are working, it would be your responsibility to walk our Labrador twice a day during the week. I am expecting that you tidy up after yourself and are willing to do normal housework like vacuum the floors and clean the kitchen. Sometimes it will be necessary to prepare dinner or snacks for the girls. Otherwise I am sure you will have a lot of fun and laughter living with us, we have had 10 au pairs so far in the last 10 years and all have loved the experience with us. Our last au pair has stayed with us for 2 years and is now moving close to us as she doesn't want to leave Berlin.
