Hi! We're an Italian family, mother (35), father (41), and two kids (6 and 3). And in June a new baby will be with us : ) Our sons are attending a British school, so we'd like that our au pair be a mother tongue. At home we could speak both leanguages, so we can improve our (poor) English and you your Italian. But with kids you'll speak English. We have no experience with au pair but we like so much that idea. We like imagine our au pair as a big dauther, so we can get angry with you : ) We live in a small town near Rome, about 30 min by car or 50 by bus. It's hard to say how is our typical day next spring. Probably the new born will rivolutionize (again) our life. I "hope" that I'll go on with my job - I'm a lawyer - and all mornings I'll bring the kids to their school in Rome. My wife after some months will go on with her job - she is a employee and her office is the same town where we live - and at 15.00 has to go to school to collect them. Next April we move to our new house, a new building with a lot of garden and a pool.
Basically we expect an help with kids in the morning (30-40 min, just to get them ready), in the afternoon (about from 15 to 20) and less then hour after dinner. Probably during first months in the morning too, because the newborn. We don't want house works from our au pair. We expect that kind of work form other people. Just in the evening - some time - an help to clean where we had dinner all together, but just an help. And never alone. usually I do that. After first period (approximately after october 2017), you can organize your mornings as you want. If you need to go to Rome, you can leave in the morning with me and the kids (at 7.30 - 7.45). You'll be in Rome about at 8.30. You can have free all sundays. We think to start with this experience in September 2017, but, if you agree, we can have a test from May to July. If you have questions, we try to have a good answers for you!
