We are looking for an Au Pair to be part of our family in the UK starting as soon as possible, and staying until at least the end of the school year - near the end of July 2017. Our current au pair has found a job and must leave soon. We have had 6 au pairs over the last 6 years who can provide you with information about our family if you wish. About us We are an American family from California, living in the UK where I coach Archery. I am a single dad of 2 children, I work most days from either home or the office. I travel for work frequently, so there may be times when the Au Pair will be with the kids in the home by their self. I also have to work a lot of weekends. Carlie is an independent 12 year old who enjoys shopping, and playing sports. Caden is an 8 year old boy who plays football, tennis and is part of a Swim Team. Both of the children go to school Monday-Friday, Carlie walks with her friends to school and Caden needs to be taken to school and picked up. The kids are at school from 9:00 to 3:00 every day. We live in a large 6 bedroom house, and share one bathroom. I am doing a lot of home improvements. Our au pair will have her own room. We have high speed internet (100 mb+). We live close to a train station, and close to a small town with shops. There is a major shopping mall within 5 miles. There is also a school to study English, where all of our au pairs have gone, TCAT - Telford College of Arts and Technology. It is only a 10 minute drive to the school.
We need an Au Pair that will take care of the children before and after school and take them to any after school activities. I will supply an all expenses paid car which can also be used for personal usage. Our au pair will need to make sure the children are up in the morning, have breakfast, and then transport them to and from school or any activities they are attending. The children will need help their homework - making sure they do it, help with cooking dinner and clean-up. Also making sure they get showered, brush their teeth and put to bed on time. We would also need help with some housekeeping chores - mostly just making sure the kids clean up after themselves. We also have a weekly house cleaner. Our au pairs are treated like members of our family and are included for all family meals and invited to all activities. We really want them to feel at home in our home.
