We are a relaxed family, seeking a live in aupair to help with our son nearly 3 and new baby due in January plus general running of the house with a particular emphasis on light housework, meal preparation and helping wherever needed. Our son William is an extremely happy friendly energetic boy, he's happy to go to anyone and loves to play play play.. we have another little one due in January which is why we have decided to look for someone to join our family and help with the running of the house and children. My husband is Scottish we met in a small town up north of Brisbane where I come from while he was backpacking 7 years ago. Our families are far away so we would welcome u in as part of our family. My husband works full time and also does full time uni. I have a home salon working with hair. I plan to have some time off when the new baby comes however will need to get back to work at some point. When we do have time off we love to travel or head down to the theme parks or up to Williams grandparents. We know you'll want to travel so are happy to look at a roster that will give you time to plan to do this and work it in.
Your Day will be spent hanging out with our son, trips to the park Southbank, swimming, Play dates, shopping as long as he is happy healthy and looked after we are happy for u to plan the daily activities. Typical housework would include: -Food preparation -Tidying up the kitchen after breakfast/lunch -Hanging and folding and putting away washing -General tidying up and sweeping etc to keep the house in good shape -Weekly clean of the bathroom. -One evening baby sit a week All food and accommodation and access to internet is provided plus pocket money dependent on hours worked. Your room has a bed, comfy couch, TV. You will have internet access. And access computer if u do not own one. We live in Bardon which is 5k's distance to the city centre. We have an express bus just outside the door leaving every 15mins. You will have your own room, access to internet, shared use of a second family living area that is shared with our son. Weekly cleaning of your area will be your responsibility. You will be a cheerful person who is kind, loves and connects with children and has fun with them. We will need you to speak English and have had previous experience with children. It is important that you have an appreciation of what needs to be done to contribute to a busy household. A driving license is a must and you need to be a safe and confident driver. You should only apply if you are eligible to work in Australia and have the appropriate visas.
