We live in a medium apartment with a small garden. Our apartment is in a very safe and quiet area, inside a compound with security personnel 24/7. The area we live in is considered the new city center of Cairo with a great variety of restaurants and and bars 5 min away. One of the biggest shopping malls is also 10 min away. My husband and I both work and our son goes to a German Kindergarten 5 days a week and is usually home around 4:00 pm. We often go to the beach on the weekend (red sea or Mediterranean). We have 2 cars and we're willing to let the aupair use one when needed. We all speak German, the little boy is a bit better than us :)
My kid needs to practice German through playing, going out together and reading. He already goes to KG in the morning, so it's a free time for you :) The rest of the day until bedtime is the time to spend with you and we will be around to help :) In the weekends we go out. Sometimes we go away to the beach when the weather is warm enough. We will provide a separate room and no housework is expected whatsoever.
