Welcome to our family! We are a happy, funloving, hardworking family of 4. We live in a reasonably large town just outside of the capital, Oslo and both parents work in Oslo during the week. We live centrally located in Drammen and also have a cabin by the sea, which is situated 30 minutes drive from our home. Our family consists of Hedda (mother, 40years old), Kristian (father, 40 yeahs old), Fredrik (son, 13 years old – who lives with us every second week) and Alexander (son, 2 years old). We are a family that appreciate quality family time in our busy everyday lives and we are very including, have a good sense of humour and like to joke and play and make sure that we have a good, positive athmosphere in our home. We spend quite a bit of time in our cabin by the sea, mainly between April and October. If you want to be our au pair we can offer a cosy house centrally located in Drammen, just outside the capital, with plenty of shopping, entertainment, cultural institutions, cafees and restaurants nearby. There are also nice hiking alternatives nearby and the sea is close at hand.
We are looking for an au pair that is happy, kind and energetic to come and live with us and primary take part in the daily tasks evolving around our 2 years old son Alexander. Since both parents work in another city and spend some time travelling back and forth, it is very impotant for us that an au pair can take care of the processes of getting Alexander to kindergarden in the morning and picking him up in the afternoon. The kindergarden is a 5 minute walk from home. We would very much appreciate a flexibility from the au pair when it comes to special circumstances, such as Alexander being sick and in need of being at home for a day or two. Furthermore, we would appreciate it if the au pair could make dinner a couple of days in the week, perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuum cleaning, washing, tidying up and ironing. We are a warm, kind family that will welcome the right au pair as a true member of our family. We do believe in having some ”alone time” in the evenings as well, as we enjoy reading and relaxing on our own and gather energy that way. We believe that an au pair that shares our views and values will have a great time with us.
