Dear future AuPair, We are a swedish-english family with twins living in Switzerland. Our family enjoys going on excursions, meeting friends, cooking and watching a good movie. We live in a house just outside of Solothurn. 25 min to Bern, 60 min to Zürich and 2 hrs to Geneva. Lots of outdoor activities on our doorstep and easy to get to both Bern and Zürich for concerts and events. The twins enjoy playtime both indoors and outdoors. They are two happy little ones.
Primarily you are there for the twins but we expect you to help with everyday household tasks, clean your room and bathroom. If you like cooking and baking we would love for you to help. We are both working at golf clubs so we do not always have the weekends off. But you will have one guaranteed weekend a month off and always 2 days a week. When we need you is different from day to day but we try make a monthly plan. You will be able to visit German classes on Monday-Wednesday-Friday nights ( 3 courses each 40 hrs), you have a 1/2 train card that gives you 1/2 on all trains, most boats and busses in Switzerland, a train card that gives you free train rides between 19.00-05.00. There's an electric bike you are free to use and you have a room on the top floor. There's on the same floor a bathroom and a comfy/guest room.
