We're an easygoing family living near Rome. We have 2 daughters Natalia and Bianca, aged 5 and 7, and a little boy Pietro, only 4 months. We love being outdoor, and travel is our passion. Riccardo is a civil engineer, I'm a former English teacher and would love my kids could learn some good spoken English.
Bianca and Natalia go to school in the mornings, they are back at 1:30 and 3:00 o'clock. In the afternoon we like going out, we go to the playground or we have a stroll and icecream in the old centre of our town. After the end of the school term, from the 20th June to the end of July we will spend 6 weeks in Pineto, a small town on the coast in Abruzzo, where we''ll enjoy the beach and sea. In Italy, spoken English is not taught at school, so it's important that you speak to them all the time, playing with them, telling stories or singing. As a fulltime mum, I'll be there all the time, so you don't have to spend much time alone with them. You will be part of the family. And this means that we'll treat you as an older sister, but you'll have to follow some simple family rules and do some small housework While in Tivoli, the first 6 weeks you'll have the mornings free, and I can teach you some Italian or you can do a course in Roma. Then, from 20th June to the end of July,, when we will be spending our summer holidays in Pineto (2 hours from Rome), you will come with us to the beach, you need to be able to swim so that you can swim safely with the kids. In the afternoon, after a long siesta time, we usually go back to the beach, until it's time for dinner. Our life is quiet, we enjoy nature, cycling and nature walks in the woods. If you're looking for nightlife we're not the right choice.
