We are looking for an Au Pair to join our family in Elstead, Surrey which is a small town near to a large town (Guildford) with 45 min connections into London. We are looking for a "big sister" to help with two children (a boy 3 and a girl 7) helping before and after school and pre-school in Elstead Monday to Friday each week You would need to drive and love entertaining children for a few hours a day taking them for walks, playing games and cooking their dinner on occasion as well making sure their toys are tidied away. We already have weekly cleaners to do the main cleaning so cleaning would not be required. The main focus is the children and making sure they are happy.
Main Role: 1. Care of the two children aged 3 and 7 from 7:30/8am to 9am and then from 12pm to 6/7pm Monday to Friday every week. 2. Getting them ready for school including breakfast and dropping off in Elstead school and pre-school (1 mile away) 3. Picking up from 3 year old from pre-school (boy 3) at 12pm in Elstead, giving lunch and looking after him until 3pm then collecting my daughter (7) from school in Elstead, looking after them including giving them tea until we were home between 6pm/7pm. If you are interested you will be provided with living accommodation with all living costs covered including food. The living accommodation will comprise of a large double bedroom with bed, bedroom furniture, TV, desk including internet and seating area and your own en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower and toilet facilities. The bedroom is in the downstairs of the house away from the main bedrooms and living areas so this provides privacy for you. We will also provide a car and relevant insurance for you to carry out your duties and the car can be used by you whenever required for personal use. All petrol (apart from personal use) will also be covered. We will provide pocket money of £100-£120 per week. Other costs related to entertaining the children etc would also be covered such as soft-play, groups etc. Cleaners attend the house weekly to do cleaning and ironing so no requirement for this aspect . Option to travel on holiday with us if you wish although not required (mostly UK). No working required at weekends. Extra money for babysitting if required and overnights if away with work (very rare though). 4 weeks paid holiday per year in addition to bank holidays.
