We are a family of four, but only three of us (the kids and I) are living together in Quero, Italy. My partner and I live separately, since we work in different cities, but we always reunite on weekends, either here or in Padua, where he (Giovanni) lives. My eldest daughter is a preschooler, and she has been going to a bilingual (english and italian) nursery since she was a baby. She is a bright, and a very smart kid that sometimes astonishes us with her reasoning. That is mainly why I would like to hire an English speaking au pair. My younger daughter is 3 months old now and her hobby is pretty clear - eating and not letting her mummy sleep. :) I am Emilia, and am an engineer about to start my new job in Quero (feel free to check the map). I have lots of hobbies, but sincerely, being a mom kind of supressed them ... I would love to excercise as much as I used to, and to see my friends more often. For sure, being in Quero will inspire my love for long walks and nature appreciation. Giovanni, my partner and the father of my children, is also an engineer and a huge culture-lover.
There are no special requirements other than making English the main language of the household and speaking in English with the children, in order for them to get used to it and learn it. I would be more than happy to offer the cultural exchange and help with learning the beautiful Italian language , while making our au pair feel as a part of the family.
