We are a family with 2 young sons 3 and 5 Y.O. We are just back this year from 5 years of life in China. We've loved to live in asia and want to keep a link with this continent. We would like to keep ability of our kids to understand and speak mandarin. As we both work, we also need help in order to take care of our kids on week days morning and afternoon before and after school. We are setting our home at less than 1 hour from Paris by car or public transportation.
The Au pair's job would consist in taking care of our 2 kids before and after school during week days, prepare them before school, bring them to school, pick them from school then play and do activities with them. Key request is to communicate with them in mandarin. Occasionnaly, we will ask the Au pair to do babysitting during evening (not every week). As part of the family, the au pair will help for the housework, but this is clearly not the main part of the job.
