Dear au pair, We give value to a friendly, sensitive and open minded girl who could take care of our children. We don't want an employee, we are looking for someone who is willing to be one of us and like to exchange knowledges about our cultures. We want to share our live with someone who could help us, and who we could help also someway You'll be our second au pair. The first one was a finnish girl who wanted to stay for 3 months. She felt good at home and in our location. So, she stayed for a whole year. We keep lovely memories with her. Finally, if you decide to stay with us: Congratulations!! We'll do our best to get you to feel comfortable and happy. We think this is the only way! We're a couple with three children. Gerard is 10, Bruna is 7 and Martí is 4 years old. My husband Jonatan is a teacher specialised in people with disabilities. I'm a mathematician working in a bank. We like to enjoy outdoors, hiking, riding the bikes or any activity we can share with our family or friends.... we do many things together on weekends! We live in Sant Carles de la Ràpita, between Barcelona and Valencia. It's a touristic city -although not too much crowded- with beautiful beaches and soft weather. We live in a house with a really nice garden and terraces. The beach is only a 3 minutes walk.
As aupair we want you to be part of our family and share with you our life. We'll be glad to show you our culture and we want to learn about yours, as well. We expect our au pair to take care of our children. They can speak English reasonably well thanks to our first au pair although we want them to improve it . That doesn't mean you need to give them any lesson, only have fun with them talking in English! You should stay with our children about 4 hours every afternoon, and some Saturday mornings. You'll have lots of free time to enjoy ;)
