Dear au pair, We are looking for our new au pair and we are all very excited about this! This will be the 6th year we have an au pair in our family, we always had wonderful experiences and we know it will be fantastic once again. Both my husband and I lived in London for many years and we would like our children to grow up with the awareness that there is a whole world outside of Milan. This is also why we are very interested in sharing a year of life with a fun, caring young lady from a different country.
A little about us.....We live in Milan city centre, we are a family of four: Greta (age 13), Tobia (age 10) Carlo (my husband) and my self. Greta is a lovely girl, a little reserved at first but very sweet. She loves to participate in lots of activities such as games, art making or baking and she will love talking to you as "girls do"! Tobia, on the contrary is a full on chatter box, who loves to be at the centre of attention, he is always laughing and loves to make you laugh. He also enjoys painting and story telling but his favourite activity above all is ball games. They are both very sporty (gymnastic, rugby, basketball, football, swimming and skiing) I would say that Greta has always been very courageous and adventurous for all sports and outdoor activities while Tobia has a more cautious approach but when he decides he is going to try, that is it, he's got style!!!! I am an Architect and my husband is in banking. We are both very easygoing and friendly. We live in an apartment in the centre of Milan with a lovely garden and all you need is around the corner (shops, retaurants, parks, language schools, train station, etc..) You will have your own bedroom and bathroom with TV and wi-fi. Also we have friends from school who have au pairs as well and it will be easy to get to know new friends. We are looking for a kind, easygoing, enthusiastic girl to become part of the family. We are looking for someone who loves being with children and who can actively be part of their lives, organizing fun and creative activities. Above all, we are looking for someone who wish to be part of our family without considering this experience as an employment. We will need the au pair to pick up the children from school and spend as much time as possible with them till the early evening when they go to bed. We don't need the au pair during the week end but we would be more than happy if she wants to join us during her spare time. We also expect the au pair to participate in helping around the house like each one of us. We don't need any housework because we have a lovely lady who does the cleaning. I really hope you can be the one!!!
