We are a family of four looking for a female au pair to stay with us, as we have to say goodbye to our current help, Birgit, after three years. Ideally, you should be ready to start as of 1. August 2015. Our small family comprise Jonas (boy at the age of 4) and Marie (girl at the age of 2) as well as Kasper (dad) and Mia (mom). We live in a house 15 minutes north of Copenhagen in Hellerup which is a nice residential area. In our spare time we enjoy to do things as a family including seeing friends and family, travelling and doing sports.
Your job as au pair, will be full time with focus on helping in the household with cleaning, cooking, ironing, laundry, etc. But will also entail that you a few days during the week help picking up the children in daycare and look after them in the afternoon. Our perfect au pair is a positive, responsible girl, in the mid/late twenties. You should love children and to look after them, and have experience doing so from a similar role. You should be able to work independently, and be responsible and punctual. Finally, you should be able provide us with references from a previous employeer. We prefer an au pair who is already in the country or in Europe. You will have your own (20 sqm) room in our nice basement, with TV, DVD-player, network connection and own bath room. The bath room is only shared when we have guests. We pay all insurance and food. The working hours are 30 per week with Saturday and Sunday off, in general with amble time to meet with your friends during lunch time and in the evening. If you want, you can follow Danish lessons.
