We are a happy (French) family (also speaking English), with two kids and two loving parents. Our daughter Lily was born in Sept 2010 and our son Victor was born in Jan 2013, in Shanghai - China, where we lived and worked over the last four years. The kids are healthy, smiling and laughing a lot, very active. Victor goes to pre-school and Lily goes to kindergarten, both 5 days a week. They both attend an international school. They love doing activities such as painting, drawing, art, craft and general playing time like most other active children. They also love playing outdoors, such as riding a bike or a scooter. We now live in a city called "Le Vésinet". This place is very nice, in a unique environment, 18 kms away from the center of Paris, easily accessible by train (20 to 25 minutes). The city is famous for its numerous parks and all families living there really enjoy it. The city nearby is St Germain-en-Laye, where many expats live and enroll their children at the "Lycée International". There are many foreign students and au-pairs in either Le Vésinet or St Germain-en-Laye. We parents both work during week days, in Paris. We are very busy with our careers and wish to spend most of our spare time with our children.
We need assistance around the home, making life manageable and giving the children the love and attention they deserve. On the weekends we slow down, to enjoy family life and spend time together. We like cooking, cocooning but also being outdoors; we often have walks and picnics in the parks. We like to cycle along the Seine river, where you will recognise some beautiful places / famous paintings of the French "Impressionists". This is our first time looking for an au pair; but we are used and open to different cultures, we have lived and worked in many countries. In our comfortable house with garden, you will have your private apartment with independent access, TV and internet, your own bathroom and laundry machine. We believe you will very much enjoy your stay with us, and vice versa!
