Hi! We are a family from Spain with 2 lovely boys. We love hiking and outdoors but unfortunately work a lot during the week. We need a loving person with kids, but also someone who loves animals, since we run a small home papillon dog kennel, so 7 dogs live with us. They are my responsability, but they love an extra pair of loving hands. Christian our 8 year old is sweet and very smart, very over the average, so he makes you think a lot. Gabriel of 6 is a very shy boy, but loves sport and a good laughand after some days you'll fall in love with his smile. Our House is in front of a train station and you'll have a car, too, so you can be in downtown Barcelona in just 20 minutes! Our apartment is not big, but the city is nice, and if you love outdoors like we do, you have a forest in front. My husband only speaks spanish, but i speak also english, German and a bit of frensch. I also work as a lenguage teacher in my spare time, so i could give you spanish lessons for free if you wish, or recommend the best language academies. If you feel at home on an active, noisy embironment, you'll feel great with us.
Our ideal Au-pair is a positive person who loves kids and animals. You will have your own room, with internet access, but are also welcome in taking part in all family activities, and we would love to show you arround gorgeous Catalonia. The job is mainly taking the kids to school in the mornings; that includes giving them breakfast and driving to the next village where school is. At 9 you would be free for the day, until 4. The kids have to be picked up at school, and some days taken to their extrascholar activity, or wait for us to be back home at arround 6 p.m. That's it! They eat at school and me and my husband cook eat at work. A bit help putting the washing maschine or letting the dogs out in the patio will be most apprechiated. You might have to babysit all day on a non school day, but those are few or if one of the boys is sick, of course. Other than that you are free to do as you please.
