We are looking for an english speaking au pair girl to take care of our 3 years old daughter and teach her English.We are an Italian family living in La Spezia , a nice city by the sea in the North –West of Italy. We live in a flat which is very close to the city centre . I’m a high school teacher and my husband is a primary school headmaster. For us it is important to give our daughter the chance to learn English so we would like to meet a respectful, polite, reliable, dynamic and outgoing au pair who can spend time with her ,playing with her, keeping her busy, picking her up from school.Our daughter likes playing, drawing, singing songs, going to the park , to the playground and to the roundabout, she loves books,and animals.The family's interests include long walks, playing outside, reading, cooking.
The au pair should join our family in September for a minimum of 3 months (to July 2015 if she is happy to).We do not require much babysitting in the evening (just occasionally).We'd require about 20/25 hours weekly looking after our daughter , that means mainly playing with her and help with our ordinary routine during school months, mainly in the afternoon because in the morning the three of us are supposed to be at school. Only some occasionally evening baby sitting will be required.Light housework for example setting and clearing the table, tidy up and clean your own bedroom, hovering the floor, do some shopping for example going to the baker’s to buy bread occasionally, the sort of helping around as a family member generally would do,are the light housework we need. We offer a pocket money ,a private room with tv and internet connection , and a private toilet. We have also a bathroom with a shower and bath that we’ll have to share. Our flat is on the 7th floor with a view on the park, it has got a living room, a kitchen , a study, a toilet and a bathroom, 2 bedrooms and 3 balconies. Our au pair will have one or two days off (we’ll decide that together since we are flexible about that.)Our au pair will have her free time but she would be welcome to share time and activities with us as a family member. What we consider indispensable is that our au pair is responsible, friendly, nice and truly enjoys taking care of children.
