We are a regular Spanish family, mother and father are working (both engineers) and both children are going to the school. After our second child was born we moved to a bigger house then we have more space and one available room. We are living in a quite neighbourhood but there is an important street quite close and also Parque de las Avenidas metro station that is at a distance of 30 metres from our home. We are using an English baby sitting service (about 3 hours a week) since our first child was 6 month old. Now with the bigger house we are thinking in having somebody at home.
We are thinking in an au pair to help taking the children to the school and/or picking them up when necessary. Also some help with housekeeping would be appreciated. Our working time is not totally fixed, besides it is possible we need to travel (just one of the parents and not often) then we think that having another person could help in our work and personal life. Our preference is an English speaking person, but other options can be evaluated. We can offer a single and personal room with desk, Internet and TV with free access to the rest of the house. We also can offer home-made food, also for taking away. We usually eat at work and the children eat at the school.
