We are a happy family who live in Canberra, the beautiful capital city of Australia. We have one year old twins, a boy and a girl. They are very active and enjoy playing and seeing the world. I am a high school teacher and currently work on call (substitute teacher). I am also studying for my Masters Degree in English Literature. My husband works for the Government. We have 2 small dogs who live inside. We enjoy going for walks and going to the playground, going shopping and visiting the many attractions in Canberra including going to the snow during the winter. We would like an aupair who will fit into our family. Someone who is happy, easy going, friendly, calm and organised.
Our au pair can expect to work 3 days a week taking care of the children and also a small amount of housework to tidy and keep the house clean for the children. You will need lots of energy to play and sing all day! We would like our children to speak French so would like our aupair to speak mostly French to the children. You can speak to us in English and we will help you to improve your English. On the weekend you may like to come with us when we visit different places. Sometimes we will visit Sydney for the weekend too.
