We are looking for a lovely au pair to join our family for 12 to 24 months to help look after our two girls. You must be able to ride horses and have general knowledge of looking after horses. Both children have ponies and we live on a farm with 8 horses and ponies, 3 dogs and a cat. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH HORSES AND ARE NOT A COMPETENT RIDER. You must be over 21 for car insurance purposes. Alana is 4 in August, she will start school with her older sister Georgie. Both girls are very active and love to learn. They both ride their ponies and enjoy the out doors. They love crafts and painting and sports. Mum heads up a Marketing team and Dad is an Investment Manager. We live on Jersey, a lovely Island close to France. We live on a farm with lots of land and next to Nanny who runs a livery yard as a business.
You will be expected to pick up and drop off the children from school. Get them ready in the mornings and bath them at night, sometimes prepare dinner. Do the clothes washing and food shopping. We have a cleaner so housework is not required. Help out at the yard a few mornings a week, mucking out, riding and general care of the horses. Also help the girls with their ponies, at shows and general riding. You will have the opportunity to ride at least two or three times a week. You must be able to ride, walk trot and canter.
