We are a family of mother and father, two daughters (3 and 5 years of age) and an infant boy. Daughters go to barnehage (daycare) approx. 9a-3.30p every day. Mother is currently a stay-at-home mother, while father work primarily in the Oslo region, but travels internationally through work. The family is bilingual, father and daughters speak Norwegian primarily, while mother speaks English primarily. We are looking for a non-smoking au-pair,preferably with a drivers license, and who likes outdoors activities (the kids play outside a lot). The au-pair needs to be proactive and not afraid to ask questions if there are issues. Preferably the au-pair has experience with care for children and house cleaning, and preferably has had au-pair experience from the Nordic countries.
Caring for children: Helping getting the children ready for daycare in the morning, clothing, making sure the clothes are clean and ready (some ironing required). Helping to pick up kids from daycare in the afternoon. House work: Cleaning and some cooking (preferably) Transportation: Driving (preferably) in the local area.
