We are a Franco- Irish family, so we speak both languages (English, French) at home. My husband works in Geneva and I run a small language school in France. We have two boys and a little girl. We live 10 kms from the centre of Geneva in a small French village, with a view of the Mont Blanc, as well as the Jura mountains. The region is very beautiful (mountains and lakes close by) and we love living here. We are looking for an au pair who will be kind and loving to our children, who likes sports and who is curious about discovering what it is like to live in a French speaking culture.
The main responsibility of our au pair will be to look after our little girl while I am out at work. We would like the au pair to spend time playing with her, taking her for walks. Our eight year old comes home at lunch time, so the au pair will need to go and get him from school (a short walk away), then make lunch for both kids. Our eldest will come home from middle school by bus, however there may be times that we will ask the au pair to get him by car. When the boys have after school activities (sports, music) the au pair will drive them there. There will be some light housework as well and evening babysitting duties from time to time.
