We live in Helsinki, Finland. Leenamaija is a visual designer, and at the moment she is working at home for 1-2 days per week. Sampo works in education business in his own company. Our son Pyry is six years old (born 12/2007) and daughter Taika is three years (born 6/2010). Pyry attends a daycare center four days a week. Taika is staying at home. Children's grandmother lives nextdoor and is also a close member of the family. Our house is a big romantic wooden house in an appreciated, beautiful garden town area, about five kilometers from the city center. The public transport connections in the area are excellent, by buses, trams and local trains. For travelling inside Helsinki we will provide you a travel card.
We would need you to work for about 30 hours per week: taking care of the children, some basic cooking, laundry etc. helping with the household work. For extra hours we will pay some extra. Maybe a 9-18 month period of stay would be best for us, what about you? Some Finnish language skills is requested, to be able to communicate better with the children and the Granny. If needed, a Finnish language course during your stay will be paid by us. Hope to hear from you soon!
