Hello from Denmark How wonderful that you would like to become an au pair:-) We would very much like to welcome an au pair in our home who is responsible, kind, honest, flexible, mature, experienced and open-minded – but most of all she should truly enjoy being with kids! :-) Further, we would like an au pair who takes pleasure in helping me with the housekeeping tasks including cooking sometimes, and who has a natural eye for what needs to be done ;-) A sweet and helpful au pair would be of great importance for us when managing a sometimes quite busy daily schedule. Additionally we would love to learn about other cultures and sincerely hope that an au pair will share with us her homeland values, ideas, tradition and gastronomy ;-) We are: - friendly, respectful, honest and open-minded - dynamic, out-going, load laughing and humoristic - responsible, organized and helpful - we value a relaxed but respectful interaction and communication and we treasure honesty and loyalty. Supplementary data: My name is Maria and I am a medical doctor and researcher. My husband’s name is Nicolaj and he works a lot of hours due to a leading position in a private organization. Together we have two wonderful, happy and healthy kids, Ellen (2 years) and Frederik (3 years), both attending daycare from 8 am to 3 pm. NOTE: it is important for us, that you have a drivers license, since we would like you to sometimes bring the kids to daycare by car. Hoping to hear from you:-)
I would like to ask you to help with the kids and household tasks and cooking. Typically I would ask you to help me for 2-3 hours in the morning on week days: - helping getting the kids ready for day care - sometimes bringing the kids to daycare - tidying the house and keeping it clean everywhere and nice at all times - doing laudry - etc. On week days you will typically be off work between 9/10 am to 3/4 pm. 3-4 days a week I would like you to help me from 3/4 pm to 7/8 pm: - sometimes bringing the kids home from daycare - helping me with either the kids or with the cooking - enjoying the meal with the rest of us at 5 pm - taking Ellen for a walk or bath while I get Frederik ready for bed - cleaning up after dinner, cleaning up toys ect. And makigneveything clean and nice and ready for the next day. You will have at least one full day off work per week and sometimes more.
