Hello, We are a bilingual French-German family living in the south of France. We have two beautiful children. They are home schooled. We try to emphasize the arts and sports and languages. This is the reason why we are looking to welcome in our home a English native speaker.
We are looking for a warm and fun person who would enter our family with the wish to take part in it and all our activities. You need to be flexible because we do not necessarily know ourselves how we will organize our days in advance. We would like to welcome somebody who likes music and possibly play herself an instrument. We are weary of the impact of medias on the children and we do not wish to have somebody in our home permanently watching his/her phone to check emails, chats, SMS, etc... Our Au pair needs to be available for the children physically as well as mentally. There is a little bit of home work involved but mainly playing with the children and driven them to their various sports and activities. And of course a lot of talking as the aim is to improve their English. We are here using the full immersion concept, which means that our Au pair should never speaks French at home with the children or ourselves. English should prevail. We do have an extended family, witch we meet very often and with whom our Au pair could converse in French.
