We're looking for an aupair from Finland, since we wish for our children to learn Finnish. Also, we live in a small town in a arctic climate so an interest for outdoor activities is a must, and we value a lifestyle with healthy eating (great plus if you're interested in cooking), music and culture experiences (we read a lot!). Since we have very small children, previous experience is a necessity. Also, you need to be very patient. It helps. We offer a stay with a fun family, a room of your own in our house, a vast range of outdoor experiences nearby and an opportunity to learn/improve your skills in the Swedish language.
Taking care of the kids when we're not home. Getting them to kindergarten in the morning, picking them up in the afternoon, cooking dinner/making snacks, grocery shopping, some simple housework (laundry, washing up) and occasional babysitting at evenings. Both kids are allergic to milk protein so we have a strict milk-free diet. Both parents try to be home as much as possible (although we have busy schedules), so this is an easy gig.
