We require a German au pair to have fun with our two lovely children! It is very important for us to look after our au pair so she enjoys her time with us. Please read our profile below and add us to your favourites list for more information.... We live in outback South Australia on a beautiful sheep station, one hour away from a town. The children are fun and loving, and ready for someone to spend some quality time with them now that Mum is busy in the business. They would love someone who likes the outdoors, nature and crafts, someone who will sing songs with them and read books every day. Both parents have travelled and worked in other countries and want to give the same experience to the au pair - being part of our family and culture during your time here. Mum has worked as an au pair in Germany and will try to ensure you are happy and having fun.
The au pair's main job is to have fun with the children while Mum is working. There will be opportunities for the au pair to join in with day-to-day station work, like working with the sheep, if she wants to experience outback life, but it will be up to the au pair to decide. At home, the au pair will look after the children and only do a very small amount of house work, like cleaning up toys at the end of the day or preparing a meal for the children. It is important to us that the au pair will communicate what she wants to do, so we are all happy - if you want to cook, just say so, and it will be your turn! If you don't like cooking, I won't ask you to. If you love nature, being outdoors, new experiences and you want a family who will help you enjoy your time in Australia, this will be a great job for a happy, friendly au pair.
