Giorgia, my daughter, and I are looking for a cheerful young woman to help us learn German. My husband will transfer to work in Germany at the beginning of October and in all probability, we will follow next year (in June). Hence we would like the opportunity of having a young woman to keep us company, help us in the house a little and, above all, help us learn German. I am Italian, my husband is English and Giorgia speaks both languages so it is fundamental that you speak both German and English as this, at least initially, will allow us to communicate in English. We look forward to knowing you better.
Above all we are looking for a young woman with a sunny disposition who is able to interact well with children, who’s mother tongue is German but can speak reasonably good English. We would like you to help us manage Giorgia on a daily basis and help us in the house. Basically, you would need to take Giorgia to school and pick her up in the evening, to which end we will provide you with a car. Giorgia starts school at 8.30 and finishes at 16.30 so whilst she is at school we would like you to keep the house clean, iron and help with preparing the evening meal. I also often work in the evenings, so on those occasions we would like you to keep Giorgia company and put her to bed (between 8.30-9.00 pm). From Friday evening to Sunday evening you will be free to enjoy Italy as my husband will come home every weekend. In addition, if you would like to make some extra money, we have a neighbor who would like you to help her two young children learn German.
