We are a family of 4. Two adults and two kids We recently moved to a big house near Milan (so part of it is still under renovation but doesn't effect normal living). it's about 35 km from Milan, 35KM from Pavia ,40KM from Torino and 20KM from Novara. We have a train station 10 min from our home (in Vigevano) that will take you to Milan, Pavia, Novara and Torino in about 20-30 min In our small town, that is also called "the town of art", we have all the facilities, post office, supermarket, coffee shop and gelateria (who can live without it but believe me it’s the best you ever eaten). In 10 min walk or riding a bike, we also have very good restaurants and pubs that serve hamburgers, pizza and pasta according to the Italian tradition. The area is one of the most beautiful sights in Italy (well Italy is lovely almost in any place). In a walk of 3 minutes, we have a park with 3 lakes that you can fish, ride a bike, do a picnic or just relax in the gentile sun. In about 15 min with a car you can reach a beautiful river and a park resort with restaurants and places to eat . We also have very near by 2 swimming pools , sport centers with gym, basket, tennis and so, a small water park (very good and cheap) , another water park which is bigger but also a bit more expansive. For the ones who like shopping we have it all here, big commercial areas with fine Italian clothing, supermarkets, toy stores, you name it.
