Introduzione personale

Dear aupair, I am looking for an English-speaking aupair, nanny or a teacher who can help me at the kindergarten I am running and perhaps help teaching my 11 year old son too. Your salary per MONTH would be 7,000 Baht, which is equal to $230 or 170 euro (the standard Batchelor Degree salary). It is quite a lot of money for Thailand, considering the low prices here --- see the "Some details" below. There are chances for your salary to increase if you also work part time teaching English at some evening or weekend classes. You will have Sundays and national holidays off. It is quite flexible though. You will have no expenses for the accommodation: the accommodation will be provided. You will have a little air-conditioned apartment--one bedroom, bathroom with shower and hot water. It is within the same property as my house. To go around the town freely, you can use the scooter I have, very handy indeed. And of course you can always join us when we travel without any expenses. You can come with a tourist visa and have it extended in Bangkok. I have been told that Ã¢â‚¬Å“visa runsÃ¢â‚¬Â are very well organized in Thailand, and that many people do them, and there are no problems at the border. It means if you get out of Thailand, even for a few hours, and then come back in again, your visa is automatically renewed. I know it's not very practical to do the visa runs, but on the other hand it could be nice for you to see the neighbor countries of Thailand.

Il lavoro dell’Au pair

Let me tell you about the job. Actually there would not be too much work as an aupair... You will not be asked to do housework or things like that. Your main task will be to play with the kids at the kindergarten, to be with them, to teach them things and to interact with them in English or Chinese. ItÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s a small kindergarten within the house of our family. There are only 4 classrooms with 80 kids between 2 Ã¢â‚¬â€œ 5 years old. ThereÃ¢â‚¬â„¢re 8 Thai teachers including me.
